SIGCSE TS 2023

Registration is open.

The SIGCSE TS 2023 organizing committee is excited to offer options for participants to participate virtually or travel to Toronto and attend the conference in person. We hope to have an exciting and engaging experience for all participants, and hope very much to see many of you in person. Please note that registration prices increased this year to support our hybrid offering. Registration costs are in US Dollars. Refunds

Refunds are available through March 3, 2023 (Eastern Time) with a processing fee of $100 (Regular Rate registration) or $25 (all others).

SIGCSE Travel Grants

SIGCSE awards up to five grants per year to defray travel expenses of faculty attending the annual SIGCSE Symposium. Travel Grant award winners will receive complimentary Symposium registration plus up to $500 towards travel expenses. We are particularly interested in encouraging attendance by new faculty and/or faculty who have never been able to attend previously. Please found information about the grant program and application process at https://sigcse.org/programs/travel-grants/. Applications close on December 1, 2022.

Visa Support Letters

The ACM is able to provide visa support letters for in-person participation to individuals attending the conference, as well as authors with accepted papers or posters, and members of the conference committee. A visa support letter will not be issued until you have registered for the technical symposium. After you have registered you can send your request to supportletters@acm.org with the following information:

  • Name and mailing address as it appears on your passport.
  • The name of the conference you wish to attend.
  • Registration confirmation number.
  • If you are the author of any papers accepted for the conference, please provide the title.
  • Fax number and/or e-mail address of where the invitation letter should be sent.

The following information may be helpful when filling out the Canadian Visa Application:

  • There is no conference code. The ACM has never applied for a conference code.
  • Who is inviting you:
