Thank you for joining us in Toronto this week for the 2023 SIGCSE Technical Symposium. This was the first SIGCSE Technical Symposium held outside of the United States; it was a pleasure to welcome so many people to Canada. The Technical Symposium will return to the United States in 2024, when it will be hosted in Portland, Oregon. Our production team has been hard at work captioning and posting recordings back into the platform. Thursday’s recordings are already starting to make it back onto the platform, including our amazing opening keynote with Dr. Robert Thirsk! We are grateful to our incredible production team for providing us with access to this valuable content beyond the limited time of the symposium.

An awesome symposium begins with awesome submissions and awesome reviews! For a single submission, we need at least 3 reviews, so help by doing your part in distributing the reviewing load. If you are uncomfortable with reviewing in a track you submit, you can review in another track. In 2023, only 14% of the authors were reviewers, and we can surely improve this metric. The recruiting of reviewers continues until Aug 2023, so more details and training will come at that time.
