Mario Carreon is a PhD student at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan. He has been a teacher at the Department of Computer Science at the University of the Philippines Diliman since he graduated in 2001. He got his MSCS in 2006 in UP Diliman, and his MPhil in Advanced Computer Science at the University of Cambridge, UK. He aims through his research to help improve the learning experience of Introduction to Programming students through sensing and gaming.
