Wednesday message from the ChairsWed 15 Mar 2023

Welcome to day 0 of the SIGCSE Technical Symposium! We are so excited to see you online or in Toronto. The weather is chilly here, but the mood is warm.

On Wednesday morning and afternoon, we have Pre-symposium, Affiliated Events, and Supporter Sessions. The Symposium program kicks off officially on Wednesday night at 7:00pm when our first block of Workshops begins. We value a safe and respectful environment.

Below is information on expectations, what to do if you witness unacceptable behavior, and how to address grievances. We also have ethics facilitators that are unconnected to the organizing committee if there is something you wish to discuss but are uncomfortable reaching out to the committee. Please refer to the conference web page at: https://sigcse2023.sigcse.org/attending/Safe+and+Respectful+Environment
