For this poster, we present findings from our research study on a series of STEM workshops developed in a local summer program for young Black boys entering grades 3-8. Data were collected and analyzed from initial and final surveys, student work, and field observations. Our preliminary findings suggest that youth gained comfort with having both tech and sports within the same learning space began to use digital technologies as mediating tools for acquiring and refining skills in sports.
